The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is the venue for this exhibition. Since the opening in 1976, the NEC has grown significantly in size and reputation to become the UK’s number one venue of choice for organizers, exhibitors, and visitors. Originally there were seven exhibition halls - today 19. Not to mention 34 conference suites and a host of additional outdoor spaces.
Take a chance while in Birmingham to visit the Sarehole Mill. Though outside the city, it is only a 20 min drive from the NEC. J.R.R. Tolkien lived across from the mill and used it for inspiration to create middle earth. On Wednesday and Sunday, you can see the wheat being ground.
